Beavers Beat Arizona 31-7 to Secure Postseason Appearance
DJ Uiagalelei Leads Offensive Explosion; Ryan Returns Interception for Touchdown
CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State Beavers clinched a bowl berth with a dominant 31-7 victory over the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday afternoon at Reser Stadium.
Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei led the Beaver offense with a stellar performance, completing 20 of 28 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 45 yards on seven carries.
The Beavers' defense also played a key role in the win, holding Arizona to just 206 yards of total offense. Cornerback Ryan returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
With the win, Oregon State improves to 6-5 on the season and becomes bowl eligible for the first time since 2013. The Beavers will now await their bowl assignment, which will be announced on Sunday.
